A Mom’s Story of Creativity and Inspiration
Hi, I am Sara, a mom of six and the creator of kidstruckposters.com! I know a lot about grabber arms, stabilizer legs, rippers and articulators, because I learned from the best – my five truck-loving sons.
I am also a professional and avid graphic designer, that already created books, magazines and catalogs back in elementary school in Germany, where I was born and raised. I earned German college degrees in media management and media design.
My inspiration
When I first saw my sons’ fascination with trucks and tractors, I was amazed by how much they were drawn to certain details, like the stabilizers, the hopper, and hydraulic cylinders. Their excitement was my inspiration.
I wanted to nurture that curiosity, and quench their thirst for mechanics, power and problem solving—right on their bedroom walls! Unfortunately, most available truck posters for children don’t meet the level of detail, education, and design I envisioned.
That’s why I created KidsTruckPosters for all the truck crazy kids out there!
Our secret to wow kids
The secret to creating for children? Become one! As I dove into the world of trucks and tractors—reading manuals, studying specs, and exploring images—I asked myself: What grabs a child’s attention? What sparks their excitement? With a child’s sense of wonder, I selected the most fascinating facts and views to design the ultimate truck posters for kids.
